Our Future Is In Your Hands Mr. President

 Pres. Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr.

Republic of the Philippines

Malacañan Palace, Philippines

Greetings, Mr. President!

How have you been feeling these past few days? I hope you're feeling okay. I want to send my warmest greetings for winning the presidential election. Leading our country will never be easy, and it is a big responsibility to your shoulder. I am looking forward to your six years of leadership being memorable and our country developing and improving.

I know that you are aware of how Filipinos live nowadays. We're still living a very difficult life, and I know some who have lost their jobs during the pandemic. As a concerned citizen, I cannot do much about these problems, but you, sir, have the power to help our country out of its current situation. I also want you to consider expanding our nation's health and education systems. After seeing the pandemic's wrath, I have learned that nations that are well-equipped with medical supplies and cutting-edge technology can readily fight off viruses. I also wanted to talk about the local educational system. Unquestionably, we had a supply shortage, especially in isolated places. Every nation, as far as I'm aware, places a high focus on education.

As this letter comes to an end, let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your ongoing devotion to our nation. Your interactions with representatives from other countries started off fantastic since you were seated as the President of the Republic of the Philippines. To continue carrying out your responsibility, I pray that God would give you health and strength. I'm hoping you can revive the prime and glory years of the country. I'm sending you my warmest wishes, Mr. President. Our future is in your hands. Please do things wisely.

Sincerely yours,

Coleen Mica Angela Mercado
