Friendships on Christmas

The tragic tragedy caused by the epidemic is gradually changing to happiness and light. This year has been terrible for everyone. Despite the pandemic, I believe that we should still be able to celebrate Christmas and enjoy its spirit. The coronavirus won't be in any way interfere from our Christmas fun. It is tremendously upsetting for many of us to have to postpone our anxiously anticipated holidays every year; it feels like we are losing the most important component of our existence. Even though the pandemic changed our custom of enjoying the holidays, the spirit of Christmas still exists in every Filipino's heart.

We held our first Christmas program since the pandemic this year. It is, in my opinion, a very memorable party. I'll be going to my second and final Christmas party as a junior in high school. I will treasure the wonderful memories we created that day. Along with my classmates and our adviser, we had our snacks and shared them. We participated in new parlor games, which made our program more interesting and enjoyable. After the Christmas party, we took pictures and spent the remaining time together with my friends before we went home. During the Christmas break, I spent my days bonding with my family and pets. Bonding with them was a real stress reliever.

We had a very happy Christmas celebration because I was with my family and, above all, we were all healthy. We even completed the simbang gabi and had a family reunion. Some relatives of ours befriended each other again before Christmas Eve. They ended the fight, which caused our families to rejoice again. Even though we went through many trials and disasters, we are still happy because Jesus is there to lean on. A blessed Merry Christmas to everyone!
